…of course I’m a musician… aren’t all sound guys? So I thought I’d start by posting some old MoC stuff here for your downloading pleasure. This is a compilation of tracks from 3 albums. It’s been a while since we recorded anything new, but I think this stuff is pretty timeless and worth sharing — I’m really proud of it, and have some fond memories from this chapter of my life. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Look for the complete albums on iTunes.

Incidentally, there’s been talk of a new MoC album. We can neither confirm nor deny the rumor… but it would be cool, huh?

Alright so, next we have the first group of Drum Ringtones — some traditional West African Djembe rhythms including some basic calls and passport rhythms.
I’ll be doing more of these soon, including more West African (yes, even Dunun patterns) , some Hindustani Tabla rhythms, Morrocan Doumbek rhythms, and some Latin Conga stuff as well. Stay tuned…
(NOTE: these are no longer available on iTunes, but you can download them as ringtones on your iPhone… Droid versions coming soon.)

…and finally, here’s some cool stuff I’ve been recording with my friend, Brian Crain. We’re calling it soundforpicture
he plays piano and keys. I play drums, percussion, pitched percussion… my daughter Mya even has a solo on one track (see if you can find it)… she was only about 18 months old at the time but we think she nailed it:

…here’s a ringtone my daughter helped me record a while back.  Some people think it’s annoying, most people (myself included) think it’s pretty cute. You can download it to your iPhone (Droid version coming soon.)

…anyway, I’ll keep adding stuff here as I find time, so check back soon if you like what you hear. Thanks for visiting,
