location sound services for film and television

for about 20 years. With a background in music production and recording, I was fortunate to have a friend in the film business decide to give me a chance.  I jumped in with both feet and have never looked back.  Thanks Brian : )

I’ve had the privilege to work with some amazing crews and talent.  I hope this site will be an honest and accurate reflection of who we are and what we do.  One thing is certain — film production is more than just the sound. Too many sound people forget that — including myself sometimes : )

No one likes ADR — it’s a nightmare from start to finish, from scheduling to actually getting something useable.  So we do everything we can to avoid it.  That said, when it comes down to making the day, sometimes you simply have to move on and accept that you did everything in your power to get clean tracks.  Accepting that, coupled with the importance of getting along with people, will ultimately produce the best results.  There are usually only 2 or 3 sound people on set.  It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, overlooked, under-appreciated, under-staffed… It’s easy to forget how to cooperate when the tension is high and everyone’s getting peeled, but if you get all uptight, it spreads through the cast and crew like a virus. The only impression I want to leave is a positive one.

Of course we’re gonna get the best production sound possible — it’s our job… and getting along with the cast and fellow crew members is paramount to that.  Anyone can rattle off a list of equipment they have, and rent anything else that they don’t have — except experience.  Here’s to a positive one!  We work in the greatest industry on Earth.  Hopefully, it shows.
